Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd achieves healthy workplace status

A Gwynedd housing association has been commended for demonstrating its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award.

Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd was recognised for providing employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep staff motivated and healthy.  The Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees.

This is really good news for us. Our human resources team have been working hard to provide different schemes which promote a healthy workplace. They include the Bike to Work scheme, monthly ‘fruit’ Mondays as well as a healthcare benefit scheme and various counselling services. We want to be recognised as an employer of choice and these health initiatives are important as they mean our staff are more likely to be happy and healthy at work.

Congratulations to Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd on achieving Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace status and demonstrating that the health and wellbeing of its employees is fundamental.
