Simplyhealth continues its support of One25 in Bristol with £2,700 donation

Local healthcare provider Simplyhealth has made a donation to Bristol charity One25. One25 reaches out to women trapped on Bristol’s streets, supporting them to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. The funds will go towards covering the costs of One25’s outreach centre where volunteers pack vital items such as warm clothing, flasks of hot tea and food bags onto One25’s night van and then set off to support to women where they need it most.

The outreach centre is integral to the support One25 provides. Our night van is often the first place where women make contact with us, so we are very grateful that Simplyhealth has chosen to continue to support us. The funds will go towards the annual cost of the building such as rent, repairs and maintenance.

One25 makes a real difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable women in Bristol. We are delighted to be able to help with the costs to keep the centre running.

One25 is a Bristol charity and each year they help around 40 women escape and rebuild their lives. The outreach centre is used each weeknight so that teams can provide women with nutritious food, hot drinks, contraception, warm clothing, support in crisis (A&E, police) and a chance to talk in a safe environment.
