Simplyhealth donates £1,045 to Leeds Mencap

Leeds based healthcare provider Simplyhealth has donated £1,045 to its local branch of Mencap. Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Leeds Mencap helps people and their families living with learning disabilities. The funds will be used to purchase new essential equipment for the charity’s younger members to help them during the new school term.

We are thrilled to receive this fabulous donation from Simplyhealth. It will enable us to continue to provide services and activities that help us to improve the lives of children with learning disabilities in the Leeds area. The equipment we already have has a tendency to wear out fairly quickly which is not surprising considering how many little hands play with them! Simplyhealth’s donation means that we can now afford to replace some of the existing equipment for the new school term.
Ruth Fawcett, Head of Fundraising at Leeds Mencap
We are delighted to offer our support. Leeds Mencap has been running for sixty years and continues to do a fantastic job for people with learning difficulties in the local community.
