Simplyhealth opens radical lifestyle store in Radstock

Kate Lusty, the Radstock Coop’s Health and Safety Manager, was one of the first to try out a top-of-the-range mobility scooter in The Unlimited Company’s new store just opened this month.

The grand opening event saw the ribbon cut to this modern store within the Co-op in Radstock, which feels more like a technology retailer than somewhere to buy home and mobility products. The store design is radical in its leading-edge style together with maximum accessibility for people with disabilities of all ages. Overall the ethos is to ‘live without limits’.

We hope to help as many people as possible regain or rediscover their independence. This might be in the home, using a cleverly designed piece of furniture or kitchen appliance, or out and about using a power chair with ergonomic steering system. Come and talk to us about your needs and we’ll help you to live an unlimited life.
Brian White, Store Manager

In addition to a scooter showroom, The Unlimited Company store has a consultation area with seating for customers to take the time to have a coffee and discuss their individual needs with expert staff.

The Unlimited Company was chosen to open a store here since they provide useful, unique products and knowledgeable advice to people of all ages with a disability or reduced mobility.
Don Morris, chief executive of Radstock Co-op

The Unlimited Company’s Radstock store can be found within the Radco Superstore (Co-op) on 3 Wells Road, Radstock, BA3 3RQ. Opening hours are 9-6pm Monday to Saturday, and 10–4pm Sundays. The telephone number is Freephone 0808 1638729 and the website is www.theunlimitedcompany.co.uk.
