Bethany’s Smile is gearing up for A Celebration of Yorkshire

Award winning fundraiser Bethany Hare, who is just 14, is gearing up for her biggest event to date, A Celebration Of Yorkshire, to raise money for children with chronic, terminal or life threatening illnesses across Yorkshire.  Healthcare provider Simplyhealth has donated £3,960 towards the stage area for the celebration event on 31 May at Millennium Square in Leeds City Centre.

We are really happy with the amount of support Bethany is receiving with her fundraising. Her aim is to be able to raise enough money to buy land to build on or to restore a suitable building, to create Smile Cottage in Yorkshire, where families can go and spend quality time and build happy memories. We are very grateful that Simplyhealth has kindly sponsored the stage for the event. We will be using it for the May’ke Fundraising Awards (to be presented by local celebrities including Verity Rushworth, Christine Talbot, RC Bridgestock, Dee Adams (mum of Nicola Adams) plus others at the May’ke ‘Voice Of Yorkshire’ Live Finals, along with lots of amazing local performers who will be entertaining the people of Yorkshire on the day.

We’re pleased that we can help support Bethany in reaching her goal of providing a holiday cottage for children and their families to enjoy. Not only will the event help to raise money for this fantastic cause but it will also help to bring the community together. We look forward to seeing who wins!
