Employee rewards package at Yorkshire Building Society boosted by addition of Simplyhealth cash plan

Over 4,000 employees at the UK's second largest building society, Yorkshire Building Society, can now take advantage of a range of health benefits provided by healthcare provider Simplyhealth.

Yorkshire Building Society's tailored health cash plan from Simplyhealth provides employees (and up to four resident children under the age of 18) with money back on visits to the optician, dentist, physiotherapist, chiropodist, chiropractor and osteopath. It also allows employees to claim back up to £100 on their private medical insurance excess, and attend homeopathy and acupuncture appointments.

Simon Wall, spokesperson for Yorkshire Building Society says: "At Yorkshire Building Society we wanted to find a positive way of promoting good health for our employees. The health cash plan does this and is a great way for us to encourage and support our people to manage their own health and wellbeing."

Howard Hughes, Head of Employer Marketing at Simplyhealth comments: "We are delighted to be working with Yorkshire Building Society to manage the healthcare requirements of its 4,000 employees across all 285 outlets. Together we have developed a benefit that is universal enough to be relevant to all employees and specific enough to be used by every individual. We hope Yorkshire Building Society employees will value having a plan they can use regularly to help look after their health."

Simplyhealth provides health cash plans, dental plans, self funded health plans and private medical insurance to 20,000 companies in the UK. Our plans can help recruit and retain staff, manage absence and help employers fulfil their duty of care needs.
