Helping workforces stay flu free this winter
With flu season well under way, Simplyhealth, the leading provider of health cash plans, has made it even easier for workplaces to help get their employees prepared for the winter season by covering the cost of the flu vaccine.
According to a report by Public Health England, the total extrapolated number of people aged 6 months to 65 years old who received a flu vaccine by the end of January 2018 was over 6.4 million1 .
As well as being offered by some GPs, the flu jab is available at a number of pharmacies and employees withthe latest corporate health plan from Simplyhealth can now claim back the cost within their policy limits.
Following feedback from businesses, their employees and our close relationship with healthcare professionals, we know that many people either choose, or are referred by a GP to go to a Pharmacist to receive their flu vaccination. We want to make it easy for people to access the healthcare they need when they need it, which is why we welcome our customers to claim back for the cost of the flu jab. Administered by a GP or a pharmacist – it’s all preventative steps against getting the flu and supporting the health of the workforce.
