ng homes achieves healthy workplace status
ng homes based in North Glasgow, has been commended for demonstrating its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award.
Provided by healthcare provider Simplyhealth, the Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees. Winners of the award provide employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep their workforce motivated and healthy.
Tony Sweeney, Head of Organisational Development at ng homes, comments: "We recognise the importance of a healthy work/life balance for our staff. Our Health Plan is central to this and we have a number of policies and initiatives in place that emphasise the importance we place on employee health & wellbeing.
We recently achieved the Healthy Working Lives Bronze Award and we are currently working towards Silver. Our staff are actively involved in developing our approach to health and wellbeing in a number of ways, including designing and implementing activities and events and this has helped to support our high level of employee engagement."
