Simplyhealth Chief Executive, Romana Abdin, shortlisted for The Institute of Director’s 2015 London and South East Director of the Year Awards
Simplyhealth is delighted to announce that its Chief Executive, Romana Abdin, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Turnover £300m and over Category for The Institute of Director’s 2015 London and South East Director of the Year Awards.
Now regarded as one of the leading and most important events in the UK’s business calendar, The Institute of Directors London & South East Director of the Year Awards recognise and celebrate the very best business leaders in the UK.
Romana is now in the running to receive one of these prestigious awards. Offering a platform to represent and promote the organisation externally, this is also a great opportunity for us to collectively celebrate our organisation, our achievements and recognise the contribution our teams and employees across the business continue to make, acting as true catalysts for change within the business.
I am surprised and delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. While it is always nice to be recognised, I consider that this could not have been achieved without the support of all my colleagues in the Simplyhealth team. We’ve come a long way together and we'll continue to pursue new opportunities as we seek to build a strong, vibrant and diverse organisation. I am proud to be part of a team that continues to embrace the challenge of the changes we are making in order to face the future with confidence.
Hosted by the IoD’s Executive Chef, Roger Evans, plus guest presenter and speaker Jeremy Vine, the Awards ceremony will be held at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London, on Thursday 28 April 2016.
