The Government’s recognition in its plan for the NHS of the role prevention can play in creating a health service fit for the future is welcome.Given we are living and working for longer, employers are uniquely placed to help change behaviours and harness the advantages of preventative care through the provision of health and wellbeing benefits.Businesses benefit from supporting employees to maintain their own health, enabling them to perform well and, ultimately, helping to improve business performance.
