Carolyn Barkin, who has worked part-time for over a decade
Working part-time has never been an obstacle to doing work that I love, that is both challenging and meaningful.

Working part-time is a partnership between you, your team, and your employer. It requires nn understanding of the excellent return on investment that flexible working can gain for companies that take a leap of faith for the right candidate.

Over the past decade I’ve watched part-time working move from the shadows to something that is celebrated. That’s why I’m so honoured to be one of the 2018 Timewise Power 50 – an award that seeks to recognise both us ‘Power Part Timers’ as well as the companies who support us.
