Simplyhealth Donates £1,500 to the British Heart Foundation in Andover

Local healthcare provider Simplyhealth has donated £1,500 to the Andover branch of the British Heart Foundation. On the first Friday of every month Simplyhealth employees take part in a dress down day. A different charity is chosen every month to donate the money to. This month the money is being donated to the British Heart Foundation in Andover.

Brian Page from the British Heart Foundation said: "I am entirely grateful to Simplyhealth for choosing the Andover branch of the British Heart Foundation to benefit from their fundraising ventures."

"Andover became a heart town last year as a result of our communities' successful fund raising over many years and the £1,500 will greatly help us to meet our target of £10,000 for this financial year. Our annual sponsored swim on Saturday 16 June 2012 at Andover Leisure Centre is our next fund raising project."

Mark Day Spokesperson for Simplyhealth comments: "We are delighted to support our local branch of the British Heart Foundation. We believe that by supporting local charities we can help to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the community."
