Simplyhealth employee Nick Waterman has won the Fleet Management Award at the Fleet World 2012 Honours. The event, held today at the Royal Automobile Club in London recognises the important role of individuals who manage car fleets in all industries around the world.

Ross Durkin, Managing Director of Fleet World Group says: "The Fleet World Honours recognises innovation, quality and sustainability and judges have been looking for evidence of this when evaluating submissions. We selected Nick to win this award based on the significant impact he has made in operating the Simplyhealth fleet in a cost effective manner, whilst at the same time promoting a best practice fleet policy."

My role is to ensure we have the right vehicle for the job, that it has a high safety record and that it's affordable for the business.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) for nominating me for this award, our suppliers Inchcape Fleet Solutions for their ongoing support and the team I work with at Simplyhealth".
