Simplyhealth hosts 2016 Connected Health Reception

Simplyhealth yesterday presented further details about its focus on everyday health and how it wants to connect with corporate partners to improve health and wellbeing at its 2016 Connected Health Reception.

British racing cyclist and multiple gold medal-winning Paralympian, Dame Sarah Storey, was guest of honour at the reception at OXO2 in London, sharing why and how she believes looking after her own everyday health has contributed towards her success.

The Connected Health Reception showcased areas across Simplyhealth including its health cash plan, dental payment and pet health plan products, its retail division, The Unlimited Company, and charitable giving. Last year Simplyhealth donated £1.6 million, supporting 25 charitable causes including Music in Hospitals, Brainwave and Revitalise. Simplyhealth has also pledged to donate 10% of its profits to charity each year.

As an athlete, maintaining my everyday health is key to my success. It’s important to get the basics right as this will help prevent more serious issues arising further down the line. This is true for anyone, not just athletes and when you look after your everyday health you can feel on top of the world.
