Simplyhealth named winner of Outstanding Wellbeing Innovation of the Year in the 2021 Cover Awards

Cover, the go-to site for independent financial advisers, has named Simplyhealth, the UK’s leading health and dental solutions provider, the winner of its award for Outstanding Wellbeing Innovation of the Year.

Cover’s Recognising Healthcare Innovation Awards, which launched this year, celebrates the best the health insurance industry has to offer across personal achievements, new propositions and campaigns, and innovative approaches to healthcare.

The panel of industry judges particularly commended Simplyhealth’s submission for being outcome focused and going beyond mental wellbeing support to assist customers in all aspects of their physical and mental health.

They specifically called out:

We’re delighted to have won this award, against some illustrious competition. We’re passionate about improving access to healthcare and our digital services have helped our 2.3million customers do exactly that throughout the last year.

The award is a testament to all the hard work from teams across our business who came together to develop new products and services that ensured our customers could continue to get the healthcare they needed throughout the pandemic and beyond.
Vicky Bramley, Simplyhealth’s Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff

Winners were announced on 30 June. More information about the awards can be found here.

About Simplyhealth

About Simplyhealth

Since 1872, we’ve been helping people make the most of life through better everyday health. Our plans make sure individuals, families and employees can easily access in-person and virtual wellbeing services, and afford to stay healthy by claiming costs back on dental treatments, visits to the optician, complementary therapies and much more.

Today we’re delighted to be the UK’s leading health solutions company, with almost 1000 colleagues serving 2.3 million customers. We don’t have shareholders, so we’re led by our purpose of improving access to healthcare, for the many, for the long term. We’re passionate about using our voice in public health affairs and partnering with charities to reduce health inequality – each year we commit to giving 10% of pre-tax profits to a range of community causes. And we ensure our business takes care of the planet too, achieving Carbon Neutral + status in 2021.
