Smiles all round for local support network in Leeds

Local support network, Sunshine and Smiles based in Leeds has received a donation of £2468.86 from healthcare provider Simplyhealth. The charity which offers support to children and young people with Down’s syndrome and their families will use the funds to transform the garden at the community hall where they meet and to develop a useful information pack for new parents.

We are very grateful to Simplyhealth for its kind donation. The support network is run by parents and volunteers and is the only specific Down syndrome support network in Leeds. With the donation, we will be able to revamp the garden into a space where the children can play and hopefully grow flowers and some vegetables.
