Youth Sport Trust achieves healthy workplace status

The Youth Sport Trust, a national charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people through PE and sport, has been commended for demonstrating its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace Award.

Provided by health plan provider Simplyhealth, the Healthy Workplace Awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees. Winners of the award provide employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep their workforce motivated and healthy.

We are delighted to be receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace Award. Our charity is hugely committed to ensuring the good health and wellbeing of our staff as they work tirelessly to build a brighter future for young people through PE and sport. The Youth Sport Trust strongly believes that physical, social and emotional wellbeing drives positive morale and overall achievement – this underpins our work with young people and is also central to our organisational culture.  We are honoured to be recognised in this way and this award will inspire further innovative health promoting activity.
